"Shabby" means they have at least 2 coats of paint [ blue over white ], "dings" and scrapes of white paint showing, and original screwholes where they were attached to a house at one time. They are structurally sound, and each measures about 39" x 16  1/4" x 1  1/8" thick. Louvres are not moveable, with one shutter having some slight joint separation.
