How do we package Cheesecake for shipping: Our cheesecakes are blast frozen, and immediately shrink wrapped with a heavy cryovac plastic.  Then they go into a foam container that surrounds the cheesecake in 2 inches of insulation.  This goes into a heavy corrugated container.  We ship all of our cheesecakes FedEx Overnight service.  The cheesecake will arrive either partially frozen, or cold and ready to serve and enjoy! The packaging insures that every cheesecake will arrive in perfect condition.  In the event that there is no one home, FedEx will leave the cheesecake in the front door or on the porch.  The cake will last one day, after delivery, in the container. Our cheesecakes can be re-frozen for up to 6 weeks! Shipping Information: Deliveries made Tuesday through Saturday.  No deliveries on Sunday, Monday or Holidays. (Saturday delivery please include additional $12.50 at checkout) Shipping days are Monday-Friday.  All orders placed on Friday must include the additional fee for Saturday delivery or the item will ship on Monday for Tuesday delivery unless you are scheduling the item to ship at a later date. By purchasing this item you understand and agree to the following: Situations and problems can occur at anytime that we have no control over.  You do not have the ability to file a claim and waive the right to do so for a cheesecake that is delivered 1 day late.  This includes cheesecake delivered after 3pm on the right delivery date.  As a result, if a cheesecake is delivered 1 day late or after 3pm on the requested delivery day we cannot refund the shipping or the cost of the cake. Again, the packaging used will protect your cheesecake for two days from date of shipping. In the highly unlikely event that FedEx delivers the cheesecake 2 or more days late, we will file a claim on your behalf, and refund the cost of the cake and shipping, but only after we receive a refund from FedEx.  This process can take 2-3 weeks.  The exception to this is the week of Christmas, FedEx does NOT guarantee delivery on the 24th for orders placed on the 23rd.  No problems so far!
