Thank you for checking out our bridge!  We are a timber frame, covered walking bridge company.  All the white pine is sawed on site in Sherburne, NY.  This auction is for our 20' model in white pine although the bridges range in size from 10' to 50' in ten foot increments.  30, 40 and 50' models may be ordered with an extra wide 'dormer' in the center.  We would gladly design your bridge to a width and wood species of your choice.  Email us if you would like more information on a different size.    The 6 main beams, plates and sills are 6" x 8"'s with the trusses and handrails being 5" x 5"'s.  It's 6' wide (outside to outside) making the walking path 5'.  The decking is constructed with 2" planks over 4" x 8" 'X' bracing.  30 year architectural shingles on longer rafters will keep this bridge protected for many years to come.    The beams are all joined by the mortise and tenon method and cross beams are dovetailed....all pinned together with locust pegs.  The only hardware on our bridges are the deck screws and roofing nails.    Overall dimensions are: 24' L - to allow for piers or abutments 13' 2" W - eave to eave 10' 10.5" H - bottom of the bridge to the roof cap Lighting (as shown) and embellishments may be incorporated into your custom ordered bridge, however this particular model is not yet wired.  Please email us for the extra wiring charge.  Rainbow Bridge Company offers free delivery within 10 miles of Zip 13460.  Other options include, but are not limited to, flatbed commercial trailer and shipping containers. Because this bridge is complete, a flatbed trailer with an oversize permit is necessary.  On new orders we can ship with the rafters precut, numbered and secured to the deck to increase shipping options.  *Buyer pays shipping charges*  We're able to load the bridges at our site and will work with you to arrange your shipping and delivery method.
