This stunning hand painted glass is as beautiful and long lasting as any stained glass. This is one of my favorites with the textures and colors that are used. Different brush strokes are used to obtain texture, and it's great! The panel measures 14 inches tall by 20-1/ 2 inches wide. It has a metal frame and two hooks for hanging. The chain is not included but the proper length for you can easily and inexpensively be purchased at any hardware store. The fruit basket is done in a textured, opaque green. There are ripe peaches, pears and grapes. There are also flowers in shades of pink and green leaves a different texture shade than the basket. It is so well done. The outside border is pale lavender, except for the bottom which is a mottled earthtone russet. Cherubs in black outline adorn each side of the basket, adding a charming old fashioned feel to it. The background around the fruit and flowers and for the cherubs is sunshiny yellow. This is really cheerful! It's very unique because it is hand painted. The design is all done on the front. The back is flat glass. Proper care will insure many years of lasting beauty. The paint does not fade. A lightly dampened cloth can be used to clean the painted side (no solvents). A mild glass cleaner can be used on the unpainted side. And it will sparkle for you for years to come. COMPLETELY MADE IN THE USA! In mint condition, this piece is brand new and never been used.
