It is made from european  white oak, the oak is shaped in natural environment for over seven years. The tap is wooden as well for a unique tasting effect on the preserved wine.   High quality We have tested every barrel, and for three years consecutively we have not found any leakage. There is no charred or lined inside the barrel, the outer layer of the barrel is covered with a thin layer of plant lacquer.  The wine held in the barrel can impart flavour, colour and tannins from the wood itself, and it has the physical property of allowing the wine more contact with the air... Now check if there is any leakage, usually there shouldn't be any. If no start using clean water to clearly wash the barrel. You are now be able to use the barrel. If there is any sign of leakage or if the barrel is emptied for over 24hours,  follow the prodecure again.
