I have tutored buyers on how to use this system over the phone, I even provide a toll free number.  Please feel free to call with any questions (888) 584-8881 - ask for Marcus.  Any email questions will be answered in detail as well.   You are bidding on a complete All Grain Brewing set of Two (2) NEW converted IGLOO 5 gallon coolers.  One is set up as a Mash tun with an 18" stainless steel collection manifold and built in sparge manifold.  Many bidders have been confused about the stainless steel collection manifold,  Basicly this is a stainless steel mesh tube which serves the same purpose as a "false bottom" but with better filtration and plenty of flow.  The advantage is less sediment in the boil, less chance of a stuck or slow mash runoff, and clearer beer! The second cooler is set up as a Hot Liquor Tank to hold hot sparge water.  Both coolers are insulated and include commercial foodservice grade JOHN GUEST brand fittings which are push-in type fittings used by most beverage companies like Budweiser, Coca-Cola and Pepsi.  No tools are required to disassemble and clean these fittings and valves. All fittings accept any 3/8" OD tubing in plastic, copper, or stainless steel.  The plastic tubing supplied is rated to 100 psi @ 180° F.  Once again this is a COMPLETE SET including everything you need, not just the Mash tun half without the HLTor sparge apparatus like many other items available.  ***A large dial Thermometer is also included with this package!*** I have personally used my own set many times for a single step infusion mash.  The mash tun will hold up to 14.5 lbs of grain total, perfect for most 5 gallon batches,  most beers require an average grain bill of 9-13 lbs. The valves are easily adjustable, so setting the flow for a 30 min. to 1+hour sparge is very simple, and requires very little monitoring or attention.  Mash efficiency for a 60 minute single step infusion mash is about 75-80%.  Efficiency can be improved with advanced mashing techniques like step mashing, or decoction mashing or it would be very easy to add a pump upgrade to a RIMS  (Recirculating Infusion Mash System).  I have had no trouble acheiving gravities in excess of 1.080, with this current setup you should be able to brew up to 8-9% ABV .  You can use advanced mashing methods or malt extract can be added in small amounts to boost gravity for stronger beers. THIS IS WHAT IS INCLUDED: 2 insulated 5 gallon IGLOO coolers color may vary blue, orange or green,  depending on availability, 2 lids (one plain and one with the sparge manifold.
