Shipping costs are determined by the packaging materials, handling, weight, dimension, and distance. The cost of shipping & freight are higher than ever due to the increase in fuel charges.  We do not mark up our shipping.  You are charged exactly what we pay to pack ship and deliver the item.  We are happy to email you our actual quote to you upon request. We also encourage you to comparison shop our shipping costs with that of other carriers prior to your purchase. Local pickup: Items can be picked up locally from Venice, California during business hours.  We use Freightquote.com whose service provides you with options for different carriers based on distance, how soon you need your merchandise, insurance, etc.  They provide you with competitive choices.  If you would like to estimate your cost of shipping for merchandise, visit their website and enter the information for the item that is described. Since calls are made to us during our hours of operation, it will be difficult for us to get an immediate shipping quote for you. Therefore, we encourage you to go to the website to get your estimate before you purchase.  Using a business delivery address (business to business) can cut down the shipping charges.  Terms: All shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. All freight ships FOB origin, therefore all insurance claims must be made by buyer. We will ship your item, from there; we have no control and will not be held responsible. If there is a problem with your item that occurs after it was shipped, your issue is with the shipping company.  We will assist you dealing with them any way we can. For damage claims, keep all packing materials including the box, etc. Please enter your phone number in the phone number field which you come across during the checkout. Please do not email your phone number after you have checked out.  If you do not enter your phone number during checkout and your item is shipped via Greyhound or freight, we will not be able to give them your phone number therefore they will not be able to contact you when your item arrives.  You will have to contact them periodically to check status. If you pay immediately, we will store your merchandise for up to 60 days from the auction close day free of charge. Many buyers make payment, ask us to store their merchandise, and we never hear from them again.  In that event, after 60 days, unless you receive a written extension, we will begin charging a storage fee equal to 1/3 of the item's value per month thereafter.  After three months we will resell the item.  If your item ships Greyhound and you fail to pick it up within 72 hours, storage fees will accrue at a rate of $4.00 a day thereafter. Storage fee's are you responsibility.  If the item is shipped back to us, we will store the item for free and await your instructions until the 60th day of the auction close date at which time, we will charge the monthly storage fee of 1/3 of the item's sale price.
