There is no need for special access panels to be built into walls. Our pump and jets are specifically installed to offer an absolute minimum of moisture retention, substantially lower than the figures quoted in the relevant US specification ASME A112.19.7M. Our double skin feature offers excellent insulation qualities. Our inner shells are substantially reinforced to give a rigid, strong form. Our tubs retain the true vintage look of a traditional clawfoot, while offering the most modern bathing features. TUB SAFETY FEATURES Our tubs are inspected for electrical safety and listed by the Nationally Approved and Recognized 'Underwriters Laboratories' (UL) All of our suction covers are fitted with a fail safe option that slows the pump down in the unlikely event of blockage of the suction cover to allow for safe removal of the blockage. SHIPPING All of our tubs are prepared ready for final assembly and generally take about 5 days to finish and test before shipping. CANADA; We can generally ship to the larger Central and East Coast cities in Canada for the same price as the USA. For more rural areas and large Western cities, we might need to charge an extra $50 - $100. We'll be happy to quote you exactly. Insurance; Our shipping rates include damage insurance; If the unit arrives damaged, please refuse to accept and ask the driver to note the packing slip. We will ship a replacement and deal with any damage claims. Local pick up; There is no charge for local pick up.
