Auto on and auto off settings are some of the more unique programmable features available on the Compact Digital. Also, if you are having a party you can program the machine to “pre-grind”. When this feature is chosen, the machine will grind coffee ahead of time and the next time you push the brew button, it brews right away. To customize the strength of your brew, the amount of coffee ground per cycle can be adjusted between 6 and 9 grams per shot, and the grind coarseness can also be adjusted to help control the speed of the flow of the espresso/coffee as it brews. Other programmable features include temperature control, pre brewing, decalcification cycle, auto rinse, water hardness setting and it will even count how many cups it has brewed.
