Description
Now you can purchase a cost effective budget Grid-Tie solar power system for your on-grid home or office. This package consists of 1)a new Xantrex GT 2.8 KW Grid-Tie inverter 2) 600 watts of 10 new kaneka high voltage 60 watt Solar panels 3) Photovoltaics Design and Installation Manual 4) SolarEnergyQuest Store catalog . That is all that is being sold in this auction. This system is sized and designed to be a starting package for someone wanting to begin to generate solar power back into the grid with plans for adding more panels later. If you are looking for a part-time or full-time remote home package, I have other auctions for that need. You will need to provide solar panel mounts (you can mount direct to the roof or build a ground mount frame, check local codes), and all wiring for solar panels and inverter. The Photovoltaics manual that is included provide a complete walk through on how to install and where you get the best solar exposure. Get complete details of each item in following description sections. With this set you will be able to begin to feed power back into the grid. Solar panels can be added in groups of 5 as you expand the system. To see the other type of batteries and complete packages I have for sale go to my Ebay Store: SolarEnergyQuest by clicking on the store icon next to my seller name or copy this linkhttp://stores.ebay.com/SolarEnergyQuestSolar Panels: Kaneka is a Japanese solar manufacturing company that has developed high quality amorphous solar panels that provide very cost effective power. The panels produce 60 watts of very reliable solar power at a high voltage and are one of the better choices for hot climates since they maintain high power output even in hot weather. The Solar panels are covered by a 25 year, 80% power output warranty and a 5 year manufacturer's material and defects warranty. These panels are well suited for roof mount or ground mount so you have lots of options. This package consists of 10 of their GSA060 60 watt solar panels, of course each panel contains a bypass diode. Specification are as follows:Nominal power output: 60 WShort Circuit Current (A): 1.19 amps DCOpen Circuit Voltage (V): 91.8 VDCMax Power Voltage: 67.0 Volts DCMax Power Current: .90 AmpsSize: 37.7" x 38.98" x 1.57" with Aluminum frame and backingWeight: 30.2 lbsTo expand this solar package, you can add panels in sets of 5.Get complete information on these panels at http://www.pv.kaneka.co.jp/products/index.htmlInverter: This package is designed to deliver up to 2.8 KW of power back to the utility in a grid-tie system. To deliver that much power you will need to add solar panels up to that power level, but the unit will deliver the power from these solar panels back to the utility.. This Xantrex GT 2.8 KW inverter takes the series wired DC power from each 5 solar panels and converts it to 208 or 240 VAC and delivers that electricity to the utility net meter. The inverter has a built-in charge controller and will handle up to 600 volts of input DC power.GT 2.8 KW Specifications:Output Power Capacity: 2800 WattsNominal Output Voltage: 208 or 240 V RMSEfficiency at full Load: 95%Waveform: Pure Sine WaveShort Circuit and Overload protectionBuilt in Utility and PC disconnects allowing for direct net meter connection in most jurisdictionsSize: height=28.5" width=16" depth=5.75"Weight=49 lbsWarranty 10 yearSee the complete specifications on these inverters here: http://www.xantrex.com/web/id/172/p/1/pt/25/product.aspSolar Energy Rebates: This system of batteries can be part of a solar energy system the could qualify for both state and federal (as of 1/1/2006) renewable energy rebates. REMEMBER YOU WILL NEED TO ACT QUICKLY BECAUSE THE FEDERAL REBATES ARE SET TO EXPIRE AT THE END OF 2008, THE SYSTEM MUST BE INSTALLED AND OPERATING BEFORE THEN. Please get more information here http://www.seia.org/manualdownload.php , CHECK WITH YOUR STATE, EVEN THOUGH THIS IS FOR A REMOTE HOME SOME STATES PAY FOR SYSTEMS EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE NOT CONNECTED TO THE GRID!!!!How Much Power: Grid-Tie systems do not power your house directly, they feed the power they generate to the utilities net power meter, moving that meter backwards thus offset the power you use. Check your local utility to see exactly how they work these credits. This system will require a total of 2.8 KW watts of solar panels to be fully generating its maximum power back to the utility. Since this is a starter package, i have just include a starter set of panels that you can expand on as money permits.Payment: I prefer bank checks, wire transfers, and money orders for payment. If using Paypal payment I will only ship to the delivery address specified in the ship to section of the Paypal payment notification. If not shipping to your confirmed address, I may require additional identity confirmation information. If I don't receive payment in a timely manner I will provide negative feedback. International buyers can pay by wire transfer, unless paypal supports seller protection for buyers from your country and a US seller (Currently 109 countries are supported).Shipping: I can ship this Solar package worldwide, quite often international ocean shipping is cheaper than US domestic shipping, check to see. I have this grid-tie inverter in both domestic and international power systems The solar equipment is palletized so they can be easily shipped via truck, airplane, or ship. The battery sets that you purchase are palletized in groups of 16 or 32. This makes it easy for them to be sent by truck to your location, that is why I list freight as the shipping method. . If you are serious email me with your zipcode or international delivery port. If you can have it delivered to a business with a loading dock or you hand unload it at your house from the back of the truck, it will generally save you $100-200 in delivery costs. Local pickup in denver is possible, but shipping costs will be added for the solar equipment.Note to Buyers: If you have more than one negative feedback and a low positive feedback number (<90%) don't bid without my approval, or I reserve the right to cancel your bid.THANK YOU FOR BIDDINGsolarenergyquest@gmail.com for questions _gsrx_vers_235 (GS 5.0.2 (235))
