Excellent with seafood or grilled fish or simply as an aperitif with your family and friends.   2005 Papavero Bianco Vino da Tavola – Italy – White Blend At the end of the 1980's and during the 1990's Viognier became very popular as the ABC Movement (Anything But Chardonnay) crossed the nation. Speculators and growers looking to make a quick buck planted as much Viognier as possible to capture this craze but in the end all it did was dump bad juice on the market. Today, these speculators are gone and only serious producers of Viognier are left. When made properly, like the Garden View Viognier, a wine of pale yellow color is produced with aromas of apricots.
