This versatile garden room has 6mm polycarbonate glazing in the roof section. Single sheets of tempered glass are recommended for the sides, as the building comes with a complete glazing capping system, that replaces standard glazing clips. The Atrium has double sliding doors for easy access and three side vents for extra ventilation. The Atrium has full TUV approval and is available in traditional aluminium finish or powder coated in green or white. Features: English-made quality aluminum frame carries a manufacturer's 15 year warranty, and will not corrode, rot or rust. The frames are Precision cut and drilled and simply bolt together using the fully illustrated Assembly Instructions. Double sliding door won't slam in the wind Complete weather stripping minimizes heat loss Large three side vents with adjustable openers allow for easy cooling. Your greenhouse must be installed on a firm, strong base. The optional steel base is perfect, and includes pegs which should be set in concrete or deck (very important in wind areas). Or you may use a 4x6 (on edge) pressure-treated lumber base, or even a brick or poured concrete footing. The Atrium comes with the 6mm polycarbonate roof pre-cut panels, but you need to buy tempered glass locally to finish out the sides of the greenhouse. This means that you contract the glass from a glass dealer near you. We can supply you with dimensions of each glass piece to be cut. Just order the frame of your choice. Our polycarbonate kits are shipped with all polycarbonate pieces pre-cut. When using glass for glazing, you will need to get your own bids on the glass from local glass retailers or regional glass wholesalers.
