Shabby in looks only ~ feminine and luscious for the shabby princess in your life! This antique vanity is in excellent condition.  I LOVE all the gorgeous beaded & scrolly filigree, medallions, etchings and the curvy backsplash on this piece.  She came out beautifully!! We handpainted her in our custom French Bleu (blue), by brush (we never spray paint) and distressed the paint to bring out the yummy dark wood underneath.  We replaced the old wood mirror backing with a new wood back and replaced the knobs with sparkling new antique style crystal knobs.  We duplicated the French bleu from an antique French bed we owned years ago ~ it is an awesome blue with a hint of grey.   From the early 1900's ~ probably 1920's.  This vanity will add color and architectural interest ~ with an "inherited" look to any room in your house.  Just like a piece passed down from a glamorous great aunt or beloved grandmother. ~*Once only seen bedrooms I see vanities in practically every room these days......*~ Antique bathroom, powder room, guest room, home office, living room, kitchens and even in entry ways!   The swivel mirror is in very good condition with some old dark streaking in the silvering and the drawers are nice & clean.  The old wooden wheels seen in the pictures are not included. However, we have new ~ strong and sturdy ~ reproduction wood wheels available in our eBay store.   This antique vanity is solid old wood.  You just can't get all wood pieces of furniture like this any more.  And this will easily last another 100 years.  As typically found in these Victorian pieces ~ the wood has some minor timeworn dents and dings here & there ~ nothing major or distracting one bit. The drawers open and close very easily.    Our refinishing process includes a thorough quality check, cleaning and making any repairs or improvements to ensure the drawers slide easily and that there are no flaws unless otherwise noted.  We also only use USA made water based paints which do not contain any lead.  We maintain professional quality in every aspect of our product selection, refinishing, service and shipping.
