INDOOR/OUTDOOR STAINLESS STEEL/COPPER/GLASS LANTERN Start Price USD 175.00 Current Price USD 175.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Friday, September 26, 2008 End Time Sunday, October 26, 2008 Location Loxahatchee, FL See more about 'INDOOR/OUTDOOR STAINLESS STEEL/COPPER/GLASS LANTERN' Description GORGEOUS INDOOR/OUTDOOR FREESTANDING ANTIQUED COPPER, STAINLESS STEEL & BEVELED  GLASS CANDLE LANTERN!  This is a GORGEOUS lantern and to make it even better, you can use it indoors or outdoors!!  It gives such a romantic look and feel also.... just place this anywhere in the forefront or in the background of either inside or outside for a romantic candlelit dinner that you won't have to worry about the wind blowing out the flames.  The stand is made of 4 antiqued copper legs that are curled in a scroll shape at the ends then join in the center to the 2" in diameter stainless steel rod that measures 34".  Attached to this rod is another smaller rod of stainless steel in an arch shape measuring 25", that at the top becomes the hook for the beautiful glass lantern to hang from.  The entire height of this lamp/lantern fixture is 66" from top to bottom.  The lantern itself measures 20" high x 9" wide and has 8 beveled glass panels that are encased inside this same antiqued copper, similar to the way stained glass panels are leaded, 2 of which make up the latched door to enter your candle through with ease so you don't get burned by others that feature top loading.  The top is round in shape, rather like one of those air balloons that one rides inside through the sky, and created out of the same stainless steel, along with some antiqued copper (by antique I mean darker, not shiney copper, nor verdigres') design work and at the bottom of the glass are some beautiful copper flower petal looking decorative features.   The lantern is octagon shaped.   This has never been used.  I bought it, along with another taller one and a table top 3 tier version, that I have listed as well, but have never once used them.   They've just been on display inside the house.  There is a statement from the manufacturer that a candle no bigger than 3" x 3" should be used inside.  There are all kinds of openings for ventilation for the candle when lit also on both the top and the bottom of the lantern.  This is a STUNNING addition to one's either indoor or outdoor enjoyment and as we all know, as copper ages, and if left outdoors to the elements, it will obtain a lovely verdigre' color and will look even more beautiful.   If you have any questions at all, please e-mail me as I am always happy to reply.  As always, I thank you for looking and I wish you happy shopping!
