This is a Cowtan & Tout Chenille woven in Italy. The fabric is a heavy cotton with a fluid weave, like a Bates bedspread. It is a perfect period piece for restoration of any Victorian or Arts & Crafts with it's classic pomegranite pattern woven into every inch. In fact, there are only two colors the red and the golden olive and the fabric is reversible. We would love to add a red fringe to finish these, or what ideas have you?
