Pinus Thunbergiana 'kotobuki. This Japanese Black Pine is a dwarf needle variety sporting needles that are roughlt 1.0-1.25" in length.  It has been trained as a formal upright, wired, rewired, etc.  It has no wire on it now.  The branching is pretty well in place but needs wiring again this Winter.  The needles on the back side have been thinned out, and the remainder of the tree should have needles plucked this Fall.  This will make a great showpiece in your collection. It stands only 13" tall from soil. It has a trunk caliper slightly less than 1.5", and 3.5" nebari. Potted in a 8"x5.5"x2.5" bonsai pot. Check out my other items!
