Pick up a kitchen magazine and look at some ads from the larger manufacturers. You'll probably find that most of them spend very little time promoting the quality of their materials. After all, flake-core raised panels, flake ends, and flake hanging rails leave alot to be desired. Jim Bishop is quality work.These cabinets are from the Jim Bishop Standard Series. Check out the specifications from that series. The cabinets are a combination of solid maple, plywood framing, and some pressed wood. The finish on the doors and the door frame is "gingerbread." The style of the cabinets is the "Danbury" style. You can find all this info on Jim Bishop's website.These cabinets came from a kitchen and bath store that closed. The cabinets were new in box and I took them out to get measurements and to take the photos.These cabinets are also available for local pickup from our warehouse showroom in Chicago!   Specifications: Drawer Boxes: Four sided (not counting drawer fronts) and are made of tough 7/16" thick MDF.
