The tractor had 2300 hrs on it but the guy that I boughtit from told me that he had a new short block out in it a few years ago. I am not sure how many hours are on it but it ran real good.    It is hard to ship these engines becuase of there weight so I took all of the external parts off of it. All of the internal parts are in it & ready to use.  When you get it you will have to take all of the external parts off of your old engine & put them onto this one. Item condition:  used,  The engine runs good with no smoke or odd noices. I checked it & it has 110 pounds comp. on both cylinders. Make: John Deere Model: 420    Year: 1983   Serial #: 224332 Hours: Shows 2301 hrs on the meter Engine Make: Onan Engine Model:  B48 Engine HP: 20     Please note that not all of the parts from the first 420s like this one are the same as the parts used on the later 420s. Please check to make sure the parts will fit on your machine before you bid on them.     All of the parts that I have listed  look OK,  but keep in mind that they are used parts.
