The set includes: 1 plate, 1 bowl and 1 cup. Depicted on the Dinnerware is Donald Zolan's marvelous and colorful picture called "Field Day". It's a picture of a little boy and his dog. The boy is harvesting corn. There is a John Deere tractor in the background. Each of the three pieces has the John Deere Logo on it. The picture has a "Norman Rockwell" feel to it. This product was licensed through Gibson by John Deere in 2001 and is now Discontinued. This is sure to become a collector's item!The Plate and Bowl are made from "Melacore". According to the package, The plate measures 7 7/8" in diameter, the bowl is 5 3/8" and the cup holds 8 oz. The cup is not "Melacore" it is plastic, probably poly-styrene. All pieces are Dishwasher Safe in the top rack. No mention about whether it is Microwave safe or not.Wouldn't this just make a wonderful Christmas present for that special little boy or girl in your life?
