Before we sell any vacuum on eBay, we have our service department completely go through it and give it a 20-point inspection and service, even if it does not need it (a $39.99 value FREE TO YOU). Kirby vacuums are great because they are extremely powerful, durable and have great filtration. It is not uncommon to see a 30-year-old kirby vacuum running great. Features Specific to this Vacuum This is a like new kirby ultimate that is loaded with everything you see in the picture and looks almost new.Kirby's are great because they have awesome cleaning power, filtration, and are very durable. This includes the upholstery tool, crack and crevice tool, duster brush, wall tool, floor tool, with two wands. It also includes the pet tool, inflator tool, handheld tool, handheld shampooer, blower, corner wand, hose and tool caddy. Tools are genuine kirby tools (see picture)It also comes with the carpet shampooer, zip brush and 2 new bags. The bags are the nicer more expensive 3M HEPA type that is an upgrade!This is not the diamond kirby model that is the current model. This is the model right before that that was made in 2003. The only differences that I have seen between the diamond model and this model is a slightly different color pattern on the bag and the diamond has a 2 speed switch to LOWER YOUR POWER. It is not a 2 speed motor but a 2 speed switch which means that the switch on the lower setting is just reducing the amount of electricity that the motor is getting. So not only is the motor going to loose power but your brushroll speed will drop as well. So the question is, is why would you pay 150 dollars or more online for that model just to reduce your power? The answer is for light vacuuming needs (like blinds, shades ect) and for floor rugs to vacuum. However this vacuum in this item has a tool called a "suction grip assembly tool" that is for that very purpose. It can reduce (its adjustable) your suction power down to almost nothing anytime you have light vacuuming needs. So I would suggest to use that tool and save yourself some money if you think you have to have a way to LOWER your power.One of the best features of this vacuum is it comes with the carpet shampooer (see picture).This comes with the nice Hepa Filtering system. If you have allergies or asthma this is a must. Those of you who have used an older Kirby know that they were heavy to use and did not have the best filtration. Please understand that this newer Kirby model has totally changed and is one of the easiest vacuums to vacuum with. It also has the best filtration that money can buy! This vacuum has had its outer cloth bag washed. Since on the Kirby vacuum the outer cloth bag is part of the filtration this is the only sanitary way to sell Kirbys. We would not buy a used Kirby unless the outer cloth bag has been washed in a washing machine like we do. It would be no different than vacuuming with a dirty bag in the vacuum.
