Description
INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS WELCOME! There are so many abandoned farms and wild trees or bushes loaded with fruit. Here is an easy-to-use fruit press to take advantage of this. This fruit press is designed and made right here at Beech Hill Artisans, assembled, hand-sanded, and finished by an experienced Maine craftsman. With auger screwed down, it is a comfortable 26" tall. The basket or "hopper" is 10 1/2"tall and 10 1/2"wide. Capacity is about 4 gallons of pulp. All fruit must be pulped/shredded before pressing. Whole fruits cannot be pressed. Consider purchasing our Apple & Fruit Shredder to prepare fruit for pressing. Our Apple & Fruit Shredder can pulp directly into the hopper as it sits on the removable drainpan. After pressing, simply remove the drainpan with hopper and wipe/rinse off! Please inquire about our Fruit Pressing Mesh Bag to fit this press, a very handy accessory. Also, we offer a variety of parts, both standard and custom made for cider presses. The screw/auger is heavyduty plated steel. Construction is mostly solid, native, Maine woods including white spruce and white pine. Note: Your new press must be sealed to guard against moisture and fruit acids. If not sealed, the wood can decay. Most hardware stores offer a variety of products for you to seal your item. Inside the carton, your fruit press arrives completely protected by discardable crating and/or Industrial-Grade styrofoams. Our modest $9 packaging fee is well worth this precaution.(Email for packaging photo).Comes with operating instructions. Because of the extended spout on front, this press can be used on a bench or tabletop. Also compact and lightweight enough for a trunk or back seat. Simple handle attachment required (easy instructions included).Make your own juice from apples, grapes, tomatoes, oranges, even wild berries...children love to spin the screw...it's fun! And when not in use, it makes a very attractive decorator. A beautiful piece of art and craftsmanship. The Ultimate Fruit-Lover's gift!Entirely Made in The USA!
