Made by the APPLECRACKER PRESS COMPANY . This is a SUPER LARGE CAPACITY CIDER, WINE, APPLE, or FRUIT PRESS. It is new. The PRESS STANDS 43 inches from the bottom to the top, with the handle screwed in all the way. This is a rugged and durable machine that is made out of various hard and soft woods, with the frame being made out of high grade 2X4's and 2x6's..... This machine is 18 inches wide with a design that goes completely to the floor for added strength and durability. Pressure from the screw is directed onto double 2X6 beams that are ridged and are capabile of recieving many hundreds of pounds of pressure. The Basket of this machine holds 8 gallons. It is 16 inches tall and 12 1/2 inches wide. It is constructed of heavy metal bands of steel that are bolted onto 1 X 2 slats. This makes a straining basket for the apples/fruit that is being pressed. The collection tray that the basket sits on, is made from a heavyduty piece of 1 inch hardwood plywood. It is trimmed with ordamental lumber and is equiped with a drainage system that incorporates a food grade teflon type fitting, and food grade plastic tubing that allows the juice being extracted to flow freely from the collection tray into your own containers. The collection tray is 18 inches, X 14 3/4 inches., and is 3 inches deep. The sturdy Pressure screw is 1 inch in diameter. It is 27 inches long. It is made out of stainless or stain resistant steel to minimise corrosion through the years of use. The handle for this machine is a full 2 feet for greater leverage and added pressure. Four sturdy 2x4 legs brace the main frame and balance the Press while the user applies pressure. All of these various pieces are bolted together with stainless or stain resistant bolts, with only the collection tray and the basket, and the handle being removable for easy clean up. This Press comes completly sanded and ready for you to apply the finish of your choice. You recieve everything shown in the picture that is associated with the Press except the apples. You get the main Press frame, the angle braces, the collection tray, plastic siphon tube, pressure plate, basket (or barrel), pressure bolt (or screw) with handle, and all of the hardware. (You also recieve other parts of the Press that are not shown in the picture.) There is some minor assembly required, but it is minimal and complete instructions are included!.
