Packing and Shipping:  Curbside Delivery - Ground shipping for items weighing 200 lbs or less.  Yellow Transportation will call in advance to schedule the delivery.  Normally 10-14 for delivery if your item in stock. White Glove - Ground shipping for items weighing more than 200 lbs.  A local mover will contact you in advance to schedule delivery. This service includes inside delivery to the room of your choice as well as unpacking and removal of all packing materials from your property.  No assembly provided.  Normally 14-16 days for delivery if your item is in stock. We ship only within the lower 48 states and Canada. Due to the fragile nature of our mirrored furniture, it requires more extensive packaging than standard furniture.  We will always pack and ship your furniture the most economical way possible while providing the utmost protection.  It will be carefully packed with specialized foam, cushioning, hardboard walls as well as triple corrugated cartons.  Every item is banded to a wooden pallet so it can be easily manuvered with a fork lift to prevent dropping and possibile damage.  Mirrored furniture must ship class 150 which is more expensive than standard wood or steel furnishings. Shipping costs are determined by weight, dimension and distance. If you live west of the Mississippi, you must contact us prior to purchase so that we can provide you with an accurate shipping cost.   The cost of shipping freight is higher than it has ever been due to the increase in fuel charges. We do not mark up our shipping.  You are charged exactly what we pay to pack, ship and deliver your furniture. We are happy to email our actual quote to you upon request. We also encourage you to comparison shop our shipping costs with that of other carriers prior to your purchase.  If you feel our shipping charges are not what you expect to pay, then please do not purchase.  We would rather miss a sale than to have you purchase an item from us and grade us poorly on shipping and handling charges.  Items over 200 lbs must be delivered white glove service unless you opt for curbside and sign a waiver that 1.) glamfurniture is not responsible for any concealed damage 2.)you will notify Yellow of any damage within 24 hours of delivery 3.) you will be responsible for filing your claim with Yellow. All of our mirrored furniture pieces ship out of our Roanoke, Virginia warehouse.  All in stock items are available for immediate pickup.  If you wish to pick up your furniture or arrange for it to be picked up by the freight carrier of your choice, you must notify us at time of purchase.  If you opt to arrange for your own pickup, you or your freight carrier must sign a document stating the furniture has been inspected by you or the carrier prior to pickup and was shipped in good condition. You must also insured your shipment for the purchase price.  This is for your protection as well as our's in the unlikely event your item is damaged in transit resulting in your having to file a claim. We carefully inspect each item prior to shipment.  It is your responsibilty to inspect your freight carefully at time of delivery. If we ship your item, we will handle any claims for intransit damage if you notify us within 24 hours of delivery. If we are not notified within this timeframe, we can file a claim with the freight company.  If you arrange for your own shipping, you would be responsible for the filling of any claims directly with your freight company.
