This is a low low smoke model without a shelter. It can or outside or in a shed and you can insulate it if needed. This is a pressurized stove so it is also a low chance of rusting of the water jacket and fire box. Due to the low smoke we feel that it is a environmentally safer stove than regular wood stoves. The stove comes with 2 blower so this burns the secondary gases for a clean burn. As it is 145,000 btu this should heat up to a 3000 sq ft modern home.
