The hinges are all functional.  The hand painted artwork, depicting a hunting scene, is marvelous. Unfortunately I am not an expert in antiques and so please do not make any assumptionas about age, period, style, etc on this piece. I have made every effort to describe this item as accurately as possible. Like you, I am only human and make mistakes. Hopefully, not too many. Buyer is responsible for making shipping arrangements and payment for shipping separately with a shipper in New York.
