This new product is based on our beautiful PERGOLA design but we've added some features. We put our PERGOLA on a pitch and install dark bronze LEXAN plastic on the top. You get the stunning beauty and classic design of the PERGOLA along with the added shade and rain proof benefit of the LEXAN top.  This PERGOLA - PATIO COVER was constructed near Wichita Kansas using kiln-dried pressure treated lumber and stained with white Sherwin-Williams deck stain to match the house's accent color. This structure was attached to the house with large lag screws and mounted to an existing patio surface using metal brackets and anchors. The posts are 6 x 6, the beam is double 2 x 6, the joists are 2 x 6 along 2 x 2's spaced on the top for 50% shade coverage. This new LEXAN polycarbonate is nothing like the old green corrugated fiberglass stuff we grew up with. This product is extremely durable and will look like new for years to come.
