Parker Self-Propelled 8HP Gas Litter Vacuum B&S Engine Product Description   You are bidding on a Heavy-Duty Parker/Minuteman VAC-35 self-propelled litter vacuum with an 8HP Briggs & Stratton Industrial Plus engine.  It was recently declared surplus by a local government agency.  This unit also has a bag platform for use on floors & streets (without the platform, it can be used on turf surfaces as well).  The vacuum pickup is 30" wide.  The VAC-35 is rated to sweep up to 30,000sq. ft. per hour, has a four speed transmission and adjustable engine speed for a wide range of forward travelling velocity.  We tested this vacuum and it runs, draws a strong vacuum, and the transmission works in all 5 settings.  There are, however, some minor carburetor problems: after driving for about a hundred feet, it would start flooding and spitting gas out the intake.  We recommend a carburetor cleaning, or possibly a rebuild may be required.  The tread on the 5" x 14" pneumatic tires is almost 100%.  There are the normal minor cosmetic blemishes on this unit, as well as a small amount of surface rust in spots (see photos).  NO manuals or additional accessories are included if not shown.  Photos show the actual item you will receive.
