Old glue remants are noted on the cream mat.  This toothbrush holder is relatively heavy, and appears to be sturdy & well constructed.  No Matson markings are noted.  Matson vanity pieces which were manufactured in the 1950s-1960s, are highly sought after collectibles, which are becoming increasingly difficult to find.  Some Matson pieces are harder to acquire than others.  When was the last time you saw one of these Matson toothbrush holders available for purchase? They are very seldomly available, so don't miss out on the opportunity to add it to your collection of fine vanity pieces.  This caddy will display beautifully while keeping your grooming necessities close by... It's a worthwhile investment!
