Even if malaria isn’t very widespread in our latitudes, the little bug that flies around our region is nonetheless capable of really spoiling the night. But our canopy gives you guaranteed peace! So much for the practical aspects. :)The best thing is that the canopy is a year-round accessory, whether for romantics, for cuddling or just for feeling good. For kids it’s a super cave or princess’s canopy (of course, this canopy is too big, as it’s intended for double beds. However, our range also includes smaller canopies. See our other auctions. Our children are always really disappointed when their canopy has to go into the wash. But we ourselves also always have a canopy over the bed all year round. Once you’ve slept under one for a while, a bed without a canopy seems really bare.  And they are also a great and unusual present. We don’t know of anyone who has received one as a gift and hasn’t actually hung the canopy up. Example: Open on all sides. The facts:Box-shaped 78.8 x 78.8 inch canopy. Height, approx 98.5 inch.Colour: Natural white. The box shape has the big advantage that if you lie at the edge of the bed, you only make contact with the curtain if you fall out. We have also tried hanging the canopy over a bed with the dimensions 87x78 inch, and that worked really well too. The material:50% cotton, 50% polyester. Not to be compared with the nylon nets on offer everywhere! The quality and feel are worlds away from those. The upper section (the decoration) and the pennant are made of pure cotton. The cotton content means the curtains feel very soft and the polyester content means they hang really well. Decorated with large buttons made from coconut shell and tassels made of cotton. Hung from four points (four hooks in the ceiling is ideal – the canopy weighs approx. 3.5 kg and it should be quite taut), all sides can be opened. The curtains overlap in the middle by about 23.6 inch. BigSky is delivered with four cords for the curtains.   Easy careSimply put it in the washing machine in the delicates cycle, slow spin and hang it up again when still damp. Any creases will drop out of the curtains. Note regarding the cordsIf the standard version is not enough, our range also includes beautiful cords with huge shells. We and some of our customers, however, have had great results with commercially available textile dyes. The cotton content in the material means the canopy adopts the colour well. Checked for hazardous substancesMotivated by the current discussions about hazardous substances in textiles, we had our canopy tested for hazardous materials in December 2004. Result: No exposure to organic chlorine insecticides was found. There was also “no indication of other unidentified organic chlorine compounds”.
