Three-tiered "breakfront" lower base. Distinctive "floating dial" design features a polished brass bezel, serpentine hour/minute hands, and silk screened Roman numerals. Polished brass lyre pendulum and wight shells. Cable driven 16 Hammer triple chime Hermle movement includes Westminster, Schubert's "Ave Maria" and Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" chime options with an automatic night time chime silencer. Bronzed bushings and stainless steel pivots have been added for durability and long movement life.
