The 74/76 models are a very popular older commercial quality trimmer- of which many are still in the field working today.  This block is vcry clean inside as the pictures show - it was disassembled for inspection and the photo session, although the block assembly will be re-assembled prior to shipping from us (no loose parts to lose). This block is in great condition ( piston rings good, no cylinder scoring, crank bearings good, has compression now) , so all you need to do is to install the needed completing parts from your old motor, and put it on your trimmer shaft - and baadda-bing- you've got a trimmer again.  This part was included with some inventory that we purchased from a closing dealer , and we have no use for it- do you?  The current retail value is unknown- but short blocks for other similar brands we sell are approx. 160.00 for an engine this size.
