The pan is made of aluminium with a steel lifting handle and steel pouring grip to the rear that helps when filling your preserve jars. It is a heavy-duty pan with a 3 mm wall thickness making it stronger and more durable. The rivets on the lifting handle and the pouring grip are nice and tight and the pan is in used condition. On the side of the pan is embossed the "Swan Brand" logo and 12 ". The pan measures 12 inches in diameter and stands 6 inches tall. It holds 1.5 gallons in capacity. I have quite a few preserving pans in my collection this one being heavy-duty which holds 1.5 gallons and can also be used for brewing homemade beer and wine. This is a heavy-duty pan and is suitable for all types of preserving and brewing. The pan does have a some minor pitting to the inside base, but is in good usable condition, and would prove a valuable aquisition to any kitchen.Please see photos for more detail/ This Heavy weight English made preserving pan is up for auction at a low start and No reserve.
