This mailbox was designed to look like an ornate house with glass windows, window panes and curtains. In addition, the front door has a bay window built out with real glass windows, window trim, lace curtains, and a cedar roof. The box is painted with exterior semi-gloss Delta Blue with white trim. Shutters accent the windows with country flower detailing. The interior is wallpapered and carpeted.  This durable and highly detailed mailbox is constructed of all exterior grade materials. The box construction is of AC plywood with a cedar shingle roof that has been water-sealed. The windows are double strength glass that has been double sealed in place. The hinge hardware is solid brass and is crimped onto the wood to eliminate the use of screws. The detail on the box has been painted with permanent acrylic paints that resist. A water-resistant adhesive is used to attach the decorations to the box. The door closure is magnetic. The box comes with an American flag for signaling the mailman that there is mail to be picked up. Mounting hardware and care instructions are included.
