Beautiful set of 6 cut crystal wine glasses.  They are 3 colors and 2 of each color.  My friend who is more experienced in Ebay suggested we sell them separately as the price for 6 might turn bidders away but the history is such that they should be sold together. This set of glasses was purchased in EAST GERMANY, that is correct, EAST GERMANY, behind the wall, in the early 70's when we were stationed in West Berlin.  We were not allowed on the other side of the wall but some folks were able to go there and when allowed, they would shop for all.   That's the story, they were made in the East, purchased in the East, and brought  home to the USA more than 35  years ago and have not been out of the box since.  Being practical, all I can say is if I have lived without them all these years, I won't miss them when they are gone and someone might as well have them to enjoy. Even the stems are etched or cut. The bowl part of the glasses have slight imperfections but that is native of where and how they were made. I believe they were hand made,  probably 24% lead crystal. They stand 8" tall and are about 2 5/8" diameter. These glasses are still in the original box they came in. The weight before packing is 7 pounds so I have added extra weight and a packing fee so as to allow for additional packing material and another box. This needs to be done right.
