I've never seen one of these before and as far as I know from when I tried it the machine sucked up stuff but blew it out better. So I may not have known exactly what I was doing on how to operate. This is not a Kirby, haha. On one end it reads Automatic Patent Pending Vacuum Cleaner Co. Bloomington Ill. The shorter rod has a 6 on it, connects to the machine and stands up vertically when it's in place. You move this vertical rod back and forth to build up pressure inside the machine. The other rod attaches to the back side of a canister and the hose and attachments are placed on this rod. The hose has some black tape on it, i suppose to cover up a hole. There is also a glass ball on it and I think it's to show if anything it coming through the machine, but I'm not for sure. There are 3 attachments plus the hose. The machine is mounted on a base and it measures approximately 28" long, canisters are approximately 12" tall. Some of the silver paint is missing from the machine. There is a wooden handle to carry the machine with. This will have to be shipped in 2 separte boxes and the weight of the machine is approximately 35 pounds. The 2 rods weigh approximately 8 pounds.I think this would be great for a display or if you have alot of time on your hand this will keep you busy vacuming.
