There is spiral type fringe on the outer edges and on the finial and it is very good condition with an avocado colored haevy duty plastic exterior and an interior of eye catching poppy flowers in mod vibrant multi colors.This umberlla is a crank style and offers a tilt feature.There is a button that when depressed allows the umbrella to tilt from side to side.Everything appears to be in working condition.The pole is most likely aluminum and steel and is in 2 pieces. There is some surface rust on the bottom section of the pole near the crank, but it is pruely cosmetic.The bones/frame look to be in great condition.Overall,umbrella is in excellent vintage condition. I found no evidence of repairs or holes.It will need a light cleaning and there are scuffs and abrasions associated with age and use.The inside colors remain vibrant but the outside green looks to have darkened over the years. The umbrella comes to you with its original plastic cover which is in very good condition with the exception of a 4 inch area where there is a seperation between the fabric and zipper due to age and use.The umbrella still zips up fine though.
