I believe these are made out of plaster as they are breakable.  Measurement of the piece the curtain would slip through is 5 inches in length X 3 and one half inches in width. The length of the area with the Rose and leaves is 7 and one half inches long.  These could be repainted to any color that works for your room. Age unknown.
