Dried morel/morels mushrooms 8 oz.(1/2 lb)' Description  This auction is for a full 8 oz(1/2 lb) of Grade #1 Fancy dried morel mushrooms.!These black morels were harvested in the Southern Cascades near Stover Mountain.My husband and brother-in-law go 'shroomin' every year..sometimes my brother-in-law sells his(writer68) or I do.This year I'm selling for both again.These mushrooms are cut leaving the stem in the ground so as not to disturb the mycelium.They are then immediately dried on site using a dehydrator at 110 degrees to allow them to dry without burning..very time consuming,but worth it as you'll be able to tell by the taste of these gorgeous mushrooms.We get a LOT of great compliments on the exceptional quality and taste of our mushrooms.Size of these mushrooms vary from small to large..an excellent variety with NO stems or broken pieces.Sealed in zip-locks with free recipe..really good! The taste is absolutely incredible..add to gravy(my personal favorite),stuffing,butterfly and fry in butter or use the enclosed recipe for the omelette.To re-hydrate,just soak in warm water for 15-20 minutes.We put a 'Use by' date of May 2009, although they keep that fresh taste a LOT longer than that.Will ship USPS Priority mail,very carefully packaged and protected at exact shipping cost of $4.80.
