This unit is rugged, utilizes only the finest materials, and therefore is not subject to attack by termites, dry rot or rust.   While this Press retains the basic styling of conventional presses it offers many important improvements and innovations over "ordinary" wooden presses: ·        The alloy steel frame is strong, lightweight, and designed to last a lifetime. It is fully MIG welded and receives an epoxy powder coat finish. ·        The “traditional” Acme-screw mechanism has been retained both from a nostalgic point of view and because it is the best and most cost effective method of applying the necessary pressure. ·        A thrust bearing has been incorporated on the end of the acme-crew to improve efficiency and to eliminate contamination (metal particles) from the stationary press plate. ·        A perforated stainless steel crush basket (11-1/4” Dia. X 12” High) is used for strength, reduced weight, durability and ease of cleaning. ·        The press plate is a rugged aluminum casting that is strong, lightweight and rubber coated for ease of cleaning. ·        The collection pan is fabricated from 20 Gauge Stainless Steel. ·        The drainage grate, located between the collection pan and the crush basket, is fabricated from stainless steel bar stock. ·        Directions and a Nylon Pressing Bag are also included. ·        Overall dimensions: 18” x 18” x 36” High, with a capacity of approximately 5 gallons per crush. ·        Shipping Weight: 78 Lbs.       Place a Bid!
