Description: ABSOLUTE GORGEOUS NAIN RUG!! This high quality carpet is a handmade Persian rug from the city of Nain is Iran. It was competed in early 2007 and shipped to me upon completion.  My specialty is in high end genuine Persian rugs and I do not offer any low quality or imitation rugs. If you look at my rugs, you will see that I am very particular about the rugs I offer and I all of my Nain rugs are genuine 6-Lah quality pieces with a miminum of 600 kpsi. This particular Nain rug is a very high end piece and I have been searching for one in this unsual size for some time now. My specialty is in high end Tabriz rugs, but every once in a while I am also able to purchase some of these very fine Nain and this particular piece is a great example of what a true 6-lah should look and feel like. The quality is so high that some retailers will sell Nain rugs like this one as 4-lah rugs, but they are in fact very high end 6lah pieces. Below is a close-up and you can see for yourself how well made this rug is. IF YOU COUNT THE KNOTS YOURSELF, YOU WILL SEE 25 KNOTS FOR A KPSI OF 625!!!This Nain rug is made in the same manner as the famous Habibian rugs and are very popular with my clients. The pile is very elegant and made of extremely fine Kurkwool (lambwool) and there are lots of silk highlights throughout the whole rug. The design and colors are also very unusual in this almost square Nain rug and it is perfect as a showpiece. Named after the dome shaped colorful ceilings in mosques, the design is called "Gonbad" and it is very popular with my clients. Normally, the design is featured in Tabriz rugs and this is the first time that I have been able to offer it in a Nain rug. The almost square size works great with the dome-shaped design and the colors are also very well thought off. Even though it is a very high end Persian rug, it is perfect for every day use or as a showpiece. My clients keep telling me how they receive lots of compliments on these types of rugs and they are very sought after.
