Completed in late 2006, it was shipped to me upon completion. The design is called "Gombardeh", which refers to the dome shaped pattern often seen in mosques. The colors are such that they compliment one another and a great deal of effort was made to have the patterns in a perfectly symmetric manner. All of my Tabriz rugs are at least full 50 raj, which puts them in the high quality range. This Tabriz rug features very soft Kurkwool with silk highlights and has no flaws of any kind. I'm very particular about the rugs I offer and if you look at my other auctions and galleries, you will see that I do not overstate their qualities and I only deal in high end Persian rugs with a specialty in Tabriz rugs.
